Welcome to my website! My name is Joseph Cunningham, and I am a professional Director of Photography (DP) with a passion for storytelling. From a young age, I have been fascinated with the power of visual storytelling to move, inspire, and inform people. As I grew up, my passion for creating videos only continued to grow, and I now have years of experience working as a DP for a variety of clients.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can often find me exploring the outdoors. Nature has always been a source of inspiration and creativity for me, and I love to incorporate its beauty into my videos. Whether I'm Mountain Biking, Skiing, or camping by a lake, I find that being in nature helps me to recharge my batteries and come up with new ideas.
Currently, I am enrolled at Biola University's Cinema and Media Arts program, which is ranked in the top 20 best film universities in the world. Here I am honing my skills and expanding my knowledge of the craft of filmmaking. I believe that being a great DP requires a combination of technical skill, creativity, and storytelling ability, and I am constantly striving to improve in all of these areas.
Ultimately, my goal as a DP is to tell stories that make a difference. Whether I'm working on a commercial project for a client or creating a personal film for myself, I believe that video has the power to change hearts and minds, and to connect people from all walks of life.
